For Your Eyes Only

A female infant, born blind, was abandoned by her parents inside a church. The girl grew up not knowing her real parents. She was raised by a priest. Many years she stayed in a room behind the church altar. And every time there is a mass, she hears everything and she sings while the churchgoers are singing different hymns. Inside her room one night, she touched the big statue of the Virgin Mary asking... if the image can give light to her dark sight? Every night thereafter she did the same thing -- praying, hoping to see the beautiful world one day. One night, an angel appeared before her telling her that she is beautiful. The girl said, "I wish I can see you right now! I can't even see my face in the mirror..." The angel responded, "The light that you were asking for long time ago is already there in your eyes. You don't see me, but you can hear me. If you can feel me, then you will believe that I am real. If you will believe you are not blind, you will be!" One Good Friday night, the girl was visited by the priest in her room. The priest noticed that the girl looks very exhausted while sleeping even after calling her name loud and changing her head pillow. The priest wanted to inform her that he will be gone for a while, but returning on Easter Sunday. Two days later, the girl woke up with a big smile on her face, seeing everything around her all beautiful -- clear and bright.
