For You Dear Baba

Tall, brown and very thin, With a big moustache and a bearded chin, Like the sun in the sky, your face shines bright, You sparkle and dazzle like the stars at night… In a long white robe you are always clad, You hair are tied and you carry a bag, The hard stone is your royal throne, Dwarkamai -your home well known... Descending upon this earth into Shirdi you came, Ever since that small town has risen to fame, Where wishes are granted and joy is spread, The sick get cured, the hungry get bread.... Miracles you perform, are unbelievable, Ones who witness them, are enviable... Simple, sober and so very noble, Saibaba-you are truly very humble... You are the master of knowledge, You are the treasury of wealth, You are giver of fortune, You are the defeater of death Your words are true but you speak in riddles, Your riddles are magical, which clear all muddles, Patience and faith is all you seek, Your divine "Leelas"are truly unique… You protect and guard me and make me secure, My wellbeing you ensure, my pains you endure, I am not worthy of all what I receive, Yet from asking more, I never take a leave.... Out of anger sometimes at you I shout, Upset and frustrated, we have a fall out, Yet a problem,an issue -"BABA" I scream, You jump to my rescue like a dream.... Round the clock by my side you stand, Upon my head ,resting your loving hand, I cannot recount all what you give me, I cannot do an inch of what do you for me… My poem is a small little way, Gratitude to show and "THANY YOU”to say, My write I hope, you would like and read, Humbly, my poem , I place at your feet……
