For Which I Broke My Pen's Nib
as if I got myself into a reverie
whilst reminiscing our resplendent date
quite thirsty you were, yearn alike
to have my expounded praises
as blue was the dress you wore and light caught it
to praise you,
I observed myself bereft of thoughts
so also I felt in framing words,
and in me,
I found no signs of eloquence
by my comments,
of the fear to lose its reverence,
I broke my pen’s nib
for I found myself a puny character
to praise a peak of esthetics
but, assistance in doing so,
surely somebody I’ll get
