Well Done Harry. My father had a chest full of medals and he always said those medals and a quarter would buy you a donut and a cup of coffee. He didn't talk about the two wars he fought in. It did something to him. Great job. God Bless, JB

It is very sad that young vital men and women were forced to sacrifice so much. Well expressed Harry.

Just three lines convey so much emotion, Harry! It's hard to imagine the number of fallen soldiers from countless wars who die "honorable" deaths. Medals don't seem to be much comfort to their families. A fave for me, hon. Best wishes in the contest. Love, carolyn (Carl Sandburg has a short poem on a similar theme called "Grass."

Harry, this is a wonderful MagiCiada honouring those who have sacrificed their lives in dedicated service to country. I am sure this will do very well in the contest! Hugs. Pandita
