For the Memories

I used to wander through the olive groves
in the days when I was younger
sitting outside in the shade to eat
while Granddad chatted in the street
familiar words not quite understood
I stayed all summer just because I could
swimming in the beautiful Aegean sea
I was as happy as I could be
memories of those days gone by
I look at the old photo's -with a sigh.

Memories are a treasure of moments of the past that we can withdraw large amounts whenever we are in need of precious company! The Aegean is waiting, the olive trees are still here you just have to come dearest, Julie! Hugs xxx

I am sure to come maybe in October- in the meantime I shall be content with looking through my many albums of home. Stay well. Hugs. XX
