For the Love of God

God's children just would not behave
So he drowned them all with a wave
Devoid of all pity
He'll raze an whole city
God's love always leads to a grave!

Nice, Rico. I think you are short a syllable in the second line, but, otherwise this is a good one. I enjoyed it immensely. A lot of truth in it, too.

Consider: God's love leads to conviction, his wrath to death. His only children on Earth during the flood were on the Ark. Most peeps are not God's children, then, now and forever.

Rob, it seems you were robbed of common sense! "Most peeps are not god's children"? Did you hear that on FOX News? Aloha! Rico
