For the Crew of the Shuttle Columbia

As they traveled across the clear blue sky
At 16 minutes they said goodbye

Our loving God our sovereign King
Call them home to be with him

Now with Jesus the seven walk

They smile
they rejoice
They touch his face
They dwell with him in heavenly peace

At 16 minutes they said goodbye
And looked into the Fathers eyes

Yet in a moment Swift in time
Here on earth 1 million tears work right

They left behind family and friends
But God assures us we will see them again

So with hope in our hearts
And tears in our eyes
At 16 minutes we said goodbye
