For souls who quest
Paths of pleasure and pain
Beauty rising from sorrow
Art cresting from pain
Emerge from your cavernous slumber
Saunter into the realm of endless night
Dance till the heart can barely take it
Embrace the unknown frights
Pity the man of no remorse
For second guessing is life's delight
The heart raked over the coals
Infuses the melody that heralds first light.
