she glows with love
sparks of pain texture
her intense feelings
bottled by too many years
a smile so radiant
it brings forth the birds
singing with joy
it makes the sun
shine brighter
a mother's love
a life of cheerful giving
rewarded too often with betrayal
her gentle soul
searching for love
to equal hers
time is an unseen,
uneasy ally
the love of friends
seeking out her radiance
for the golden heart-
so long alone
yes time and love
great healers may they be
her light will shine brighter
at each days end.
