For Real
From the start I had known,
Because your curiosity had grown,
I had hoped it wasn't for show,
But now I know,
You are not the wiser of heart,
And you tried to school me from the start,
You had some beautiful advice,
But it was part of a vice,
The addiction of control,
Something's missing at home,
It's all too much,
It's overload,
Is everything so perfect? Do you even have flaws?,
Do you just whistle in the park until there all gone?
Please pinch me,,,,are you for real?,
Na, come on, really..what's your deal?,
Is this what you call friendship? I'm sorry I'm confused,
Nobody is that perfect,,,,are you doin yoga dude?,
I love ya to death, I really do.....
But come on, man, where's the fight in you?,
I'm not pushing your buttons to bring out the ugly,
Work with me, now I'm trying to show you something,
If your really my friend I don't mind to see,
Not just all the beauty, but even all the ugly,
You don't have to be perfect, you don't have to stand straight,
I've been through hell and back, i won't run away,
