For My Lover
Yesterday as I lay here a new
vision has came to me
And it was you and I (for my
lover)
A wondrous sight to be seen
And in my life I had my lover
I reached out and touched your
face one more time
I clasped your hand in mine
(my lover)
And then suddenly felt your
warm embrace
I kissed your sweet lips to
mines
Just to taste those lips of wine
You held me very close for a
minute ( my lover )
In this exact moment that did
fleet away
You had to go now to serve our
great nation once more
Tears of love fell from my face
With me by your side and
throughout your mind and in
your journey
Yull always know your my lover
now and then
