I pen this poem for my wife Ann. We have known each other since 17. We have been together for 50 years now. We got married in church in 1982, but we registered our marriage in July 1978. "Love is the way To live each day." :)

My soul mate friend
I Love You dear
Right now and here
With soul and heart
Love’s magic art
Blessings abide
Here by our side
A glimpse we share
Warm new year fare
Comes now to greet
Fond feelings sweet

Blessings now pile
Here as we style
Deep lively cheer
To forge pulse clear
The art of now
As love endows
Blessings of health
Fund ample wealth
In soul and heart
Where true love starts
Joy now in place
Floods time and space

Blessings of joy
As truth employs
Mind, heart and soul
In journey whole
Each day and night
With grace and light
Blessings of hope
Now cast new scope
You and I dear
Feel lovely here
As new year psalm
Moves love’s outcome

Greet each bold start
With timeless thrills
Of love’s goodwill
To greet and meet
As joy makes sweet
Blessings of peace
Now funds new lease
A touch I feel
Where fond thoughts heal
I say: “Thank You”
For all you do

Blessings of soul
Now keeps us whole

With sanguine cheer
So be at peace
With lovely ease

In fond goodwill
Of love that heals
Blessings I find
Sculpt peace of mind

My time and space
Your sparkling face

As you and I
Sight rainbow sky
Through sun and rain
With love’s refrain
God bless each day
With peace that stays
As jest and wit
String fate that fits

With music deep
