For My Dear - Easy as ABC

A ton of hugs is for my dear for whom I care.
Barrels of fun together we both share.
Cookies (mostly chocolate chip) I make or buy,
Donuts too, for he is a sweet-tooth kind of guy.
Encouragement he knows I freely give.
Faithfulness, of course, is for as long as we both live.
Good home cooking for my dear - that's a given.
His slip-ups - no big deal - are forgiven.
In a terrible
Jam, he knows I'll have his back.
Kindness for each other we don't lack.
Love and laughter in our home shall reign.
Much sweetness we'll find as we walk down memory lane.
Nothing yet has been able to keep us apart.
Openness I give him - along with all my heart.
Peacefulness I pray for us will always be ensured.
Quality of life is good since by our working hard it's been procured.
Respect for one another is a must.
Space I give me dear, along with all my trust.
Tenderness is easy, for
Unconditional is our love forevermore.
Valuing each other as we do,
We can thrive, for our love is true.
X's and O's - these are key!
Yes, and my dear has eyes for only me.
Zealously we keep our love aflame - easy as ABC

Wow, this is such a lovely tribute to your Joe, dear Ria. As many said below, it flows easily for you. This form, it's just that we feel a bit lazy to start, once we start writing, it just comes our way... and I loved yours more. I always struggle with 'x' and 'z' words... Haha... Best wishes and Hugs... ~ Ani

Unconditional love so beautifully depicted in this form. I love how your abcedarian flows just effortlessly and seamlessly. I still havent started working on mine. I did a haiku string, of abcedarian before. You’ve done an exquisite job. BOL. Love this

Qualities of value for lasting love through testing time, laid bare the heart knows. Endurance and work seems the theme that supersedes. Good write.

hard work for sure. Lucky for me, hubbie has gotten better with time. He got disabled last year at work and now I drive him to doctors a lot, and he feels bad to be forced into retirement before 70.

Ha..I knew you would have to make up for the Jones write.' Lo l l))) i was on Joes side all the Time.' (All jokes to one side as is said) in a Place I really miss.' You done good Andrea I am a sucker for sustainability, and it don't get Moreso that of a loving lady and man, hey its Not perfect.' Yet that is to come.'

I exaggerated a bit in this poem; however, my husband is actually much easier to live with now than 48 years ago!

yes, it's all about reality. Sadly I see people with much easier going spouses than my own who just give everything up the minute the romance goes away. Everyone is looking for a dream.
