For Mr Kites Benefit
Look at me, I am a kite
Clasp me firmly, but not too tight
My rainbow trail flickers among the light
Patterns of colour soar, swirling so bright
Amidst the howls of childish delight.
Air on a G-string is making me jive
The grace I hold as I flutter and dive
A timeless freedom, in which I thrive
This fraction of eternity, where I have arrived
Cherished memories, the joys of being alive.
I move in grand circles and long sweeping arcs
Blazing so radiantly, i'm throwing off sparks
This topsy turvy journey my soul embarks
Wth an amazing insight it then remarks...
...'Live with Light and Love, then the fun really starts!'
From up so high, the view melts my senses
Freedom to roam, no need for fences
To see so clearly with no pretences
No thoughts for profit neither expenses
When conscious winds blow, the journey of your life commences.
