For Michael

Nothing hurts worse than heartbreak
Except for the only one you love
Falling deeply in love with someone better.

Watching for hours as their hands lock,
Their lips connect for a spark to happen
Her lips on the lips of your only love,
Nothing can crush a soul more than this.

Voice speak the truth in my mind
"He doesn't love you anymore,
You're not pretty enough for him,
You'll never be loved by anyone."

There's nothing more I can do 
Than just sit and watch as my one and only drifts away from my heart.

Michael Smith March 22, 2012 at 6:35 AM Yes, I would never wish heartbreak on anyone. My first wife left me and I was devastated. Although it made me reflect on myself and I used to become a better person and a year later through prayer found the love of my life. It has been fourteen years and I still in love more and more each day.
