For Mary, Mother of all Peoples
For all nations to walk by His glorious Light,
her “eclipse” attracts us to His beautific sight
Mary, our Mother, clothed with the Son,
“eclipsing” the Light to illumine the One
Who is, at times, too bright to view,
in all that is good, beautiful, and true
It’s not my place to define or explain,
what the Father’s heart knows —to the devotee —is plain
Accepted with love by Pope Saint John Paul the Second,
the sense of the faithful long has reckoned
An opinion true, courageous, and prudent,
the dogma lives loud in the Mariology student
Pondering with Mary, at school in her heart,
trusting the process —like her— is a start
To understand His Divine Wisdom, through her,
we know: the Holy Spirit will reveal what is apropos
