For Love of Countrymen

He bites his tongue when they burn the Red, White, and Blue
When professional athletes take a knee, he doesn't say 'boo'
I asked him how he can take it, how he keeps silent
Replied he, For them I fought in Afghanistan and Iraq too

My heart cries... so sad my friend. Heroes not heroes in their on nation? All wrong and upside down...! God Bless America and all who serve and protect her forever!!! (small rockets, sent toward the moon, in hopes for the world to wake up...) Ann

Well, it seems to me that the 'anti-heroes' have dominated the conversation in this country, for the most part, since the 1960's. I agree with you that it's upside down. But it's reality... Ask yourself if you've heard one word from any of the 24 Democratic Presidential candidates about foreign policy yet… That's right. They haven't said one word. Meanwhile Xi and Putin are just licking their chops hoping one of them beats Trump... :) gw

It bothers me too, but we certainly do have every right to protest what we perceive as injustice. Thanks for the feedback! :) gw
