Joseph May Poet Free verse

For Keeps

 She wanted to break up
 He wanted to play for keeps
 Had she missed the red flags
 That could cause her grief

 Some people just can't let go
  They may even get violent 
 when someone breaks up with them
 She will have a restraining order to show

 He might stalk her for a while
 As in the shadows he creeps
 Sadly, in the game of love
 Some want to play for keeps!

Youv described and delivered on this so very well! I absolutely loved the rhymes. And especially that last stanza, one of my closest friends in Australia been through that and is still even with restraining order she doesnt feel safe. Sad reality. Powerful write
