For I Was Worthy of Thee

For I was worthy of thee ........ It was a place of gather, the canteen, Us scholars, our grades concluded, Amongst the many was me, and that crush … For as the ring of bell had set us free, I knew it was not finished, ... for I, was worthy of thee… Many a sunrise had come and gone So many winters had passed us by I had met another, a life to live, a family tree, Yet that flash of thought...., I was worthy of thee …. The snow had fallen, the dice had rolled, the numbers were tossed, Tragedy struck and all was lost, And then it was only me…. Years gone by for me to cry, New dawns had come, to question why, And there he was, the flash of thought To catch my tears, to drown my fears, That love was immortal, it hid in a portal The thoughts were real, it was not finished …. For I was worthy of thee….
