for hunter

Some people enter our lives quietly, and somehow become part of the foundation. Not born into our family, yet woven into it all the same.

Hunter was one of those rare souls.

He carried a light that settled gently into the hearts of those who knew him. His laughter filled empty spaces, his presence made hard days softer, and his love left fingerprints that time can never erase.

To lose someone so deeply cherished is to feel the world shift beneath your feet. The chair is empty, the voice is silent, but the love remains, stubborn as the sunrise.

A mother's heart does not measure love by blood alone. It measures by every shared memory, every worry, every prayer, every moment spent caring for another soul.

And so today, tears fall because Hunter mattered. Because he was loved. Because he became family.

Though the road ahead may feel unbearably long, may there be comfort in knowing that a life so treasured can never truly disappear.

For love does not end at goodbye.

It lingers in stories told around tables, in unexpected songs on the radio, in quiet moments when a memory returns and brings both tears and a smile.

Hunter's journey may be finished, but the love he left behind will continue to bloom in every heart he touched.

And in that way, he is still here.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever Hunter. ??
