For Consideration

~ i'll share my theory
i'm not sure you'll agree

some people are depressed
thinking they aren't blessed

angrily they wave their sword
but really they're simply bored

they simply need to find a passion
to set their heart in motion

It is often true, I think, but not always so. Depression is sometimes far deeper than simple boredom, lack of passion, or idleness. Sometimes it resides so deeply in the mind and heart that it cripples an otherwise healthy person. So sad! I have also learned that depression can and does cause real physical pain.

Absolutely ~ I was very careful to say 'some' because I don't mean to belittle the problems that is sometimes a chemical imbalance or physical requiring medication. But there's one category of people who could climb out of it with a little motivation.
