For a Moment

I close my eyes and you are there
There is no breath that I can spare
You take from me, all is to bare
And conquer silence without a care

I go under, not one sound
Only my heart, as it will pound
My head’s a rush, I’m in a dream
You let me know just what you mean

The earth stands still just for a moment
And lets us have this once, we own it
Forever breathes its wondrous breath
As we surrender to no contest
