The desserts are so dangerous; sugar has such a connection with cancer!

Gee, if Biden got his carcinoma life-guarding, why didn't Reagan?! He was another older President, wasn't he?! ~ Just askin'

The sun can be deadly…best cover up. I forgot some spots and paid the price with a brutal sunburn. Sorry you’re dealing with this…hard.

I agree that it is, Kim. We cannot be too careful. As far as I know I don't have any skin cancers, but I do keep a close check.

Wow, now this short poem really gives me something to think about. I love sitting in the sun and, since childhood, I can't remember ever putting on sunscreen. I don't seem to sunburn, just turn a toasty brown. But, I'm going to be more careful. My mom died of melanoma back when it was a death sentence!

I think the sunburn you got 25-30 years ago is what manifests as basal cell carcinomas. I worked construction several summers in the blazing Alabama sun back in high school and have had about 15 carcinomas burned off or cut out, with the worst being a large one on my nose that required plastic surgery and moving a flap from my cheek. The poem was somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Biden recently said global warming caused his skin cancer.
