Footprints
No one is pariah,
we learnt from Maya.
Admit a mistake,
lighten your heart.
Respect others like self,
don’t be over smart.
Shown a kindness,
smile and restart.
Make good friends,
on life’s journey cart.
Mend fences with fellow beings,
check the drift apart.
Spread the message of love,
on your part.
Morrow never comes,
now may start.
Seeking divine guidance,
learn the beautiful art.
Wisdom learnt grows,
to others when you impart.
Persevere and stick,
to goals you chart.
Leave some footprints,
before you depart.
Caged birds they sing
notwithstanding times apart.
