Footprints

I leave footprints in the wet sand.

They meander with no rhyme or reason

headed towards a pastel sunset

where pinks and mauves touch

the deepening hue of the beach.

The colours ... just beyond my reach

Hi, felt as if I was there as the beach darkened. Loved the feeling you give of wanting to touch the colours and capture it in some way. Dave

Deep poem Francine. Excellently portrayed image of the beach in such few words, It was just as beautiful though. Check out some of mine. Peace.

A beautiful free verse poem Francine. Your subject and imagery melded together as lovely as a Monet painting!
