Foot Lamp

Father calls me
One of His sons
Shining so bright
Only seen at night
Ruling over darkness
Giving light on earth
Observers call me
A fixed star
A wonder afar
But a nadir
I hide my zenith
The greater Light shines
No glory is mine
Because Father set me
As a point of light
For observers' path
So don't stargaze
Lest receiving His praise
I become another nova
