Foolish Lives

Often do things do not turn out as expected
How it becomes to be, how far we have come to see
And here we are with our every days as enlisted
Realizing all things to be made a memory

Working our days into lives we come to live
Loving another for a bond to be made
Seeking means for a willingness to believe
With an end to be compelled to simply await

Did we honestly choose for the lives we lead?
From the many confusions cause by the world today
Is there not a promise once… made to meet?
Can we even recall… from the disappearing yesterdays?

And we spend our lives searching for things we create
Believing for only an instance from the world made true
Towards another we learn ourselves to relate
Making sure along the way, to simply not be a fool

Irony can simply be the word to describe
Waiting our whole lives before the final comfort
Things to always be doing to only seem alike
How it becomes to be, only to see the way forward
