Foolish Flower

Always tried to do my best still not much earth-blest Of five children one alone makes me grand too foolish in the flower God chaffs the plan in love's forgotten-hour light fails star-bud blooms a Promised Place a table set in brighter rooms beyond regret ____________________________ Note: (In mashing a "normal" poem through a Haiku sieve, I had no conception of "star buds". It happened when I jammed together the thematic elements, lines and rhymes. It was like a bar-fight with my sub-conscience and that's the bloody tooth it spat-out. - R.W)

in loves forgotten hour light fails star-bud blooms That was the part that really caught my attention , and after I copied it, I then finished the poem and saw that you had made note of it at the end!! Awesome!!

I decided to write first and then abstract into a Haiku form, but I have no discipline. When I saw that line, I thought; 'What... I didn't write that'? --- My new Spooky Form.

Robert, on the remark you made on my poem, I so agree with you. I had to look up other of the words in that contest just to be sure I knew what they all meant. haha. Let me see your poem now.

My poem? What poem?-- I used "Clowder" and "cerebrate" in the updated "Refrigerator Notes..." - If I look up words I get stuck. Been caught literally reading the dictionary. Like doing algebra for fun.
