Fool In Love

Anna begins to cry
She doesn’t understand
Why love has to hurt
She only knows she loves me
I know nothing
For I am a fool for love
I stand on the balcony
And offer to jump
A plunge into the twilight
Of my abandoned love
I can only hurt her now
For I am a fool for love
A fool in love
Just a dip into the twilight
Anna cries
And I leap
Destiny had caught up with me
Crashing into the pavement
At 3 a.m. no one notices
Anna screams
Upon deaf ears
For love has come full circle
And she has paid the price
Of a fool in love

Hard-hitting, Stephen...ouch...well executed from beginning to end... always a thrill to read from you dear. Always, Laura
