Fool

Fools distort reality
Bend it to their will
To fit misguided ideas
And protect failed ideals

A matter of circumstance
Funny how it varies
Continent to continent
People to people

Laugh in solitude
To chase a platitude
Hate my attitude
Deny me latitude

Flee the shade
A fool rides his high horse
Risk your sanity
But never his faith

This is your world
This is my world
This is our world
Let's be fools together

It is funny how it varies depending on the region, and I think the ending is perfect - suggesting the unity of being fools together.
