Food For Thought
Changing directions doesn't mean that you have changed your mind
Do not accept a "No" until you have heard it again and again
You feel 'less' in everything, thinking you'll never win
That's the time to look to the hills and pray again
You recently missed the mark and lost your spark
So reassess, rethink, retool, return, and restart
Don't allow the word "No" to take away your glow
Just remember that the river finds its own way to flow
There is no wall that can stop the ocean waves
Don't give in and build your dwellings in a cave
So you spilled the milk; wipe it up and pour another glass
So you lost the race and came in next to last
Train harder next time and run again to be fast
It's what's inside that puts you at the head of the class
