Fond Farewell

With a heart heavy with sorrow 
To know you gone into eternal night
I bid you farewell

With a head full 
Of wonderful memories of you
I bid you farewell

With the hope of seeing you again
In the glory of God
I bid you farewell

Your soul has left your body
But it hasn't deserted my heart

I bid you farewell
But I will search you in my thoughts

I bid you farewell
But I will find you in my heart

I bid you farewell
But I will meet you in my dreams
