Following Their Lead

They said I'll never make it
I guess they were right
I never fulfilled their dreams

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Excellent write. Remember the only dreams that need fulfilling in *your life* are *your dreams*, not someone else's. We each have a contribution to make to this world, some large, some small, but we all have a part to play. I believe in the butterfly effect... the littlest things can effect great changes worldwide, though we may never see it. Stay true to your heart & YOUR dreams... pack everyone else's away! Let this day be the first day of the best of your life. :) Love, Amy PS Congrats!

As long as you stay true to your dreams it really doesn't matter. One can't live one's life for others expectation. Nice message in this poem. Congratulations on having it featured. Karen
