Follow the Thread
Follow the thread
in and through the fabric,
this tapestry...
or is this too trite?
This little life
this stretched out line,
so very fine, this thin thread,
woven in and out.
I belabour the point.
Is this moot?
Still, follow the thread to the end.
Delicate, fragile,
handle with care.
A rare and beautiful gem,
a beating heart,
is dangling there.
