Follies

Upon the active banks of the Mississippi
The river boat had edged along its way
As many people walked the decks together
While in the background, lovely music played
The air was filled with laughs and joy
A strong reminder of the times of glee
For Robert Fulton, with full steam, persevered
And the rest, my friends, you know is history
