Fog as new as this charcoal gray day Or is it really old Like damp, dirty wool fluffed upon Pines, if only it were gold Luscious verdant leaves of spring muted Yet dampnes has a part In life's cycle, the nature of earth It has from the very start Did man in the garden of eden Live saturated in damp Or was there perfect conditions Where he could stomp and ramp

I find both the poem and picture beautiful and thought provoking, Sara. I believe that the conditions in the garden of Eden were perfect when compared to our present world! ~ Regards // paul

Paul, I agree with you that the conditions in the Garden Of Eden were perfect for all things man, animal, plants..A perfect life to be enjoyed..Sin came in and ruined it all..Your presence at my page was encouraging..Sara

what a wonderful description of the day. I feel since the garden of eden was suppose to be perfect, temperature, greenery, and nature were all perfect especially if they run around with no clothes.. :)

Eve, I believe that it was perfect in the Garden Of Eden in a way that we have not idea what it was like..I have seen Gorillas in their natural habitat and they just lie around eating the greenery that they eat and seem so relaxed..However, there are insects all around them, and they are really on the constant alert to some treat of any animal that would eat them or another male who would take over their territory so that is not exactly The Garden Of Eden..Sara

I'm certain Ol' Adam was a puddle jumper, Mrs Sara:) A few more weeks and we'll be begging for rain. I enjoyed your poem:)

Funny you should ask that question. Before the days of Noah it did not rain. Water came up from the ground and watered the earth. That's one reason that the rainbow didn't appear until then. I'm going to try to be back now. Sara.

John, Good to see your name again..Yes, it does say in the Bible that water came up from the ground..I was just thinking that was the atmosphere around the earth wetter before rain started to fall..Of course, we can't really know the answer..Sara
