Fog

Spreading
a white blanket
slowly covering
the faraway hills
in a misty fog

Rolling over
the horizon's bumps
Nature
putting the world
to sleep

Tucking cities
into bed
whispering goodnight
as the sun
sinks behind her

As the flowing clouds
tumble slowly
over the slopes

The world is asleep.
