Focusing On What?

Wanting badly or focusing on the past sadly Trying to fill a void that might not exist Life twists and turns are distractions From what I unknowingly try to persist A path that has had many dead ends A heart that has had hopes crushed With a twist of fate the road bends Once untouchable, forced to blush As I reach out again I find it hard to relate Difficult with the past handed down I try hard to understand while coping with fate Something so promising can vanish without sound
