Flying Away

How does it feel when you are flying?
When there is not a worry in your path?
When, though you may appear so small,
you're not afraid to fall at all?

How does it feel
when a gentle Summer breeze
carries you along the horizon
as you stare toward the rising sun,
soaking in a perfect backdrop?

How does it feel when you have escaped darkness?
When the chill of night air has fallen away?
Does it feel as you've anticipated?

I want to be flying too.
