Fly Sky

No wings to fly way up to the sky
Feeling free to be me and see all the wonders
That set me free no worries in sight just a clear blue sky
Riding on memory rides standing in the sand drifting with the waves
Sun being in my face wind blowing warm kisses
Taken by the oceans cool breeze laughter ever after
As we play in the sand my siblings and me mom playing
With the waves a warm smile on her face
Looking back as I gather my thoughts sweet memories
Start to form like a move I start to relive no wings no worries
Just me my mom and siblings
No wings to fly way up to the sky on a natural high
Taken by the summers ease of a cool night walk on the
Boardwalk headed to the colorful lights blasting music
Game rooms smell of hot dogs and cotton candy
Happy faces as we walk stopping to take black and white pictures
As the nights colorful lights beams off the clear blue sky show
As we take the long walk back home on the boardwalk
Still smiling warm red sunshine kisses still on our faces
As the lights turn dim thankful for the memorial summers
Spent with mom and my siblings
Taken back happy tears start to form as some are gone
But the memories bring back the bond of a happier place and time
With no wings to fly way up to the sky
