Fly Off The Handle

Should anger roar when I journey inward
questing for sparks  of  epiphany
to free myself from past ravages-
and accept this burden of unrest.

Off the handle, against my earnest will
as midnight rears fury's head;
I stand undaunted by ghastly thoughts
Livening this heart, I'm a raging hunter.
