Wrote this today 20/09/2026 in memory of a close friend. Heartbreaking indeed Brad be forever 23 yrs old. Took his life last week I'm still weepie. Suicide is on up esp men. Let's all care enough to talk about suicide. It's not weak to ask for help it's a strength. I wear hoodie on front says you are enough. Back says dear friend world a better place with you in it love person in front. People have thanked me for wearing it. Talked about there loved one taking their life. Too many hurting let's stand together be kind n show love n care.

I sit here drifting back
Since I heard the devastating news
Brad your gone, can’t take it in
Fight to stay, overcame you
My love for you will never die
You inspired me , more than you knew
Ten years ago in my brokenness, losing my mum
I was walking home, work sent me home
Sobbing my heart out, I met you, can see it clearly
Your smile, your kiss, your hug, your comfort
You took my hand we sat on the bench
Yup, one near Tesco’s store
Lovingly you gazed into my eyes
Said Dotti your a very special person
Loved by many and loved by me
Brad thank you for all you did
It is all I needed to cope with my great loss
I moved from kendal in January to Coniston
I so missed bumping into you
Missed your beautiful smile, your tender hugs
Brad your eyes danced with love n joy
I saw you fight many a battle in your head
You were amazing, simply the best
A role model for your beautiful nieces you loved
You loved your family so much
At times your demons overtook you
Made you kick out your family
That wasn’t the real you
I knew you loved them so deeply
They loved you deeply too
My heart goes out to your dear Mum
She’s an amazing warrior too
You were so proud of her, she won her fight
I remember day you told me how proud u were
Well my dear friend Brad, dedicate this to you
Fly high beautiful Soul
You live on in all our hearts
I see you when a robin calls
In the rainbow in the sky, after a storm
May God comfort all who are mourning you
Forever loved, never forgotten a legend
At peace now pretty boy
Lay down your sweet head
On heavens shore, in Jesus your safe
No more struggling, no battles in your head
Not goodbye Brad cya later pal
Fly high with angels to guide you
