Fly By Night
As you sleep so peacefully
I'm flying over you
Placing love notes in your ears
In whispers, no ado
My presence barely noticed
You'd have to be in tune
To sense that I am even there
No shadow in the room
But there I am, indeed of you
I am profoundly fond
And with you I could see myself
A very special bond
I will kiss you when I leave
Right behind your neck
Subtle, not too obvious
Just a little peck
