Fly Away

Fly away little bird from whence you came into my freezing hand. There is little fire in my heart to keep thy soul in winter. I can no more join Thy sweet angelic psalm. My voice is gone From my lamentations Of my lost Evangeline. Fly away Beyond dark snares To perfect rest My arms cannot provide. Fly away O prey of love from whence you came To the cage of freedom.
