Fly

I wondered what it’s like
to be a fly upon the wall
I’d be the unseen visitor
who dares to hear it all

I’d hear the private secrets
of those who break their vows
I’d wish to tell that secret
boldly and aloud

If only for a moment
to set a righteous one free
From giving all their heart
to one intent to watch it bleed...
