Flushed Love Plea

On the verge of self-destruction
All because of a self-esteem
misconstruction,I'm not fishing
for compliments I'm fishing for
love,consolation
,acknowlagement,anything
positive you have
Before time runs out and all hell
breaks lose
Started off light,light snacks and
now I'm heavy
I swallow these words and
digest them
Unlike last nights supper which
spiralled down the toilet bowl
like my common sense
And was replaced by a hunger
Not for what I'd expelled but for
the true meaning of beuaty
Don't judge me and I'll try not
to judge you but if you do
please understand
I'm not fishing for compliments
I'm fishing for love

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
