Notes About The Poem

Written April 15 2026 just for fun inspired by Daniel Henry Rogers' quote

Fluffy Poem

“Alive on the page
Necessary in the mouth”
What dare you say
This poem is about

Righting all wrongs
A civil rights poem
Writing a song
For a sing along

Is it the speed
Of the best light
Speaking to me
The rest of the night

Cadence of brilliance
Dipped in blue ink
Raspberry resilience
Grasping literacy dream

Karen, this is a really cool rhymed poem after Daniel's quote. A poem about writing a poem! Great last line, too. Moon Harp
