The only way I can see a mall bird in a very leafy or bush environment is when the leave rustle and then i can see a tail or a beak. This is a superb write Sara my friend - I know you love birds very much, and you always describe them so beautifully. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Jennifer, The day that this scene was available to me it was a red male cardinal, so it was visible. If it had been a wren, sparrow or brown thrasher probably would not have been able to see it. I appreciate your visit and you taking time to write a kind review of my work. Sara

Against all odds, the bird survives ! There is a great survival instinct in all living creatures. A beautiful slice from Nature. You seem to be an expert in tricube poetry, dear Sara!

Valsa, I seemed to given the answers so no I am not an expert. I don't know if it will survive. My husband cut down all the shrubs, fennel, and other plants so there is no place for them to land or hide. I am wondering if they are okay, but I know that they are doing okay somewhere around, but I don't get to see them now. I usually wait until it gets warmer maybe late March or early April to cut all that down so they can come there and land and drink from the birdbath and eat some seeds. Sara

I always see flaws in them and want to make them better, but alas, it doesn't happen a lot. I am delighted you dropped by. Sara
