Flu

FLU

Well guess I was due
Feeling dumpy hot and chill
A touch of the flu

But have things to do
Can world survive without me?
Head aches full of spew

My bod feels like lead
The world can wait a spell
I’m going to bed!

thank you Daver for commenting on Spring Time Follies, yes i love the wild creatures, reason why i write about them so much, is i feel so close to them, sometimes i can sense what they are thinking or would do if they could, so i write about it. thanks for your support.

Ironically, the world does seem to get along just fine without us, Daver. Hope you don't really have the flu, but if you do, please get some rest and reel well soon. You injected some humor into this poem and I enjoyed reading it. I know you don't read blogs, but I'm out of town fishing until after Easter -- returning home May 4. Have an EKG May 5. Have a wonderful Easter, my friend! Love, Carolyn
