Flowers That Do Not Last

Again we place fresh flowers On graves that mark our past— To signify remembrance And memories that last. Along these jade rolling hills Others now leave their note— Memorial traditions Things known but never wrote. Yes, they are not forgotten In this new world so fast— We still leave these spring symbols— Flowers that do not last.
